Is that claim on the page, word for word?
Paste a sentence and the page it should come from. Each clause is stamped as a verbatim span, with where it sits, or as not a verbatim span. A paraphrase counts as a miss, because a quote is only a quote if it matches.
How it works
The same character-for-character test LITIGATOR applies to documents
- 01
Fetch the page
We read the page the way a crawler that does not run JavaScript does, and keep its visible text and its structured data values.
- 02
Split into clauses
Your sentence is cut at sentence ends, semicolons and ", and" joints. Each clause is checked on its own.
- 03
Stamp, never guess
A clause is verbatim only if it appears exactly. The nearest sentence is shown for a miss, labeled as not a match. Read the rules.
